I m interested in shooting warbows, over 80pounds and since there was nobody in
my vicinity able to make decent arrowheads, I started to make them myself. It took me 10 month to learn how to....each strike of hammer must be precise and sure, otherwise the arrowhead isnt good enough to shoot. With succesfull forging I grind the arrowheads on sandstone wheel and carbonise them with bone millet as done in ancient times. This makes the arrowhead extremely hard on the surface, but tough in core – ideal for shooting through metal, bone or flesh. There is huge ammount of arrowheads on the internet and museums and if I had any pictures, I m posting them in this group – so if you have any picture of intersting arrowhead and post it here, it will be appreciated by everyone.
