A view at the Era of Communism by FMK students
The words your grandparents say to you usually sound interesting
12. 2. 2010
When I chat with my grandma, I can only imagine the life she lived decades before. It definately is not the life I would like to live now or some other days but it has got its´ undoubtable magic. I interviewed my grandma many times and many times we talked about communism. We, youngsters, almost all of us consider this era to be an era of evil but I think it´s fine to know the other side, to listen to the words of people who actually lived during this time (because we practically did not). Elena, my grandmother, is 75 years old, she lives alone and sometimes she lives only with her rich memories. It was a pleasure for her to answer my few questions as well as it´s been pleasure for me to gain some knowledge. We mostly talked about the communism time and about the day when everything changed - 17th November 1989.
